Dr. Gonzalez grew up in Durango, Colorado, where he fell in love with snowshoeing, fishing, hiking, hunting, backpacking, and skiing. “My wife Angie and I have always dreamed of having a place in the mountains with the trees, wildlife, and clean air,” he says. “We are thrilled to come to the picturesque mountain community of Star Valley. It takes your breath away. My hope is that people will learn that they have somebody here who can take good care of them.”
He and Angie are the parents of 7 children – all basketball fans. Angie was an All American at Kansas and three children have played college ball. Dr. Gonzalez was the preferred cardiologist for the Denver Nuggets for 12 years.
