Introducing Member Care

Access to local healthcare is critical. If you’re a small business owner interested in offering affordable healthcare services to your employees, Member Care may bring the benefits you need.

You’ll have unlimited access to our primary care and urgent care clinics and essential services like discounted lab tests and x-rays at significantly reduced rates.

  • Individual Care: $40 a month.
  • Individual and Spouse Care: $60 a month.
  • Family Care: $95 a month.
  • Common laboratory tests: $15
  • X-ray images: $25 (plus the cost of the radiologist reading fee)

  • Afton Clinic Urgent Care and Primary Care
  • Alpine Clinic Urgent Care and Primary Care
  • Bridger Valley Urgent Care and Primary Care

Here are answers to some frequently asked questions.

Who is eligible for this program?

Member Care is available for local businesses – both brick and mortar companies and those that operate digitally – in and around Afton, WY.

What services are included?

Member Care provides healthcare services for preventive care like wellness visits, lab draws, and immunizations, treatment for minor injuries and illnesses, and medication. A copay of $10 is charged at every visit, and there may be additional charges for medications or some services.

Do you have family plans?

Our program provides for individuals, individuals and their spouses, and families.

Can Member Care be used anywhere?

The Member Care program solely applies to care provided at Star Valley Health hospital and several of our local clinics.

I’m a local business owner. What if my employees already have insurance?

Our Member Care plan may still be an attractive add-on, even if an employee already has health insurance (for example, through the marketplace or Medicaid). If your employee has a high deductible with their current insurance, they may also wish to join this program to access more affordable local care.

When will my employees be able to access these services?

Your employees will receive benefits 30 days after signing up and completing their first month’s payment. Your employees and their dependents will each receive a membership card. Please note that membership cards must be presented at the time of service.

SVH Member Care is not insurance. Member Care is invoiced monthly. Your business may cancel anytime, with membership closing at month’s end after cancellation. For more information, call 307-885-6453.
